They seek out undermanaged companies needing new chief executives and board members as well as operational, financial, and marketing talent.

Not only is Mr. Seiden profiled in the book The Career Makers: America’s Top 150 Executive Recruiters, but he is also named one of an even more select group of specialists who recruit senior officers for holding companies. He represents both activists and companies targeted by them.

Additionally, he finds new management and directors for companies emerging from bankruptcy as well as in hostile and activist situations.

Mr. Seiden’s other clients include many Fortune industrial and service companies.

Before founding Seiden Associates, the predecessor Firm, he spent 17 years on Wall Street helping to build and manage a successful financial services and investment banking organization.

His articles have appeared in Business Week, Bankruptcy Professional, Directors & Boards, The Congressional Record, The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, The Corporate Board, Business Law Today, and Director’s Monthly.

He has been a panelist at the New York City Bar Association. A Yale University graduate at whose law school he has lectured, Mr. Seiden is a member of the International Association of Corporate & Professional Recruiters, the Turnaround Management Association, and formerly the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Steven A. Heller began his executive search career in 1995. Prior to joining Seiden Krieger Associates, he was Executive Vice President of Martin H. Bauman Associates.

His search practice includes pharmaceuticals, healthcare, insurance, consumer products, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He has successfully filled CEO, COO and other senior management positions for leading companies in these sectors.

Mr. Heller’s approach utilizes management assessment in conjunction with in-depth interviewing to ensure that the style and capabilities of each candidate are compatible with the culture of the client company.

Before entering the executive search profession, Mr. Heller held senior management positions in several industries.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Edwin H Stern joined Seiden Krieger Associates, Inc. after a successful Wall Street career. Mr. Stern’s enlightened volunteer service to some of America’s most respected institutions is as notable as his financial acumen.

He is an active board member of Montefiore Hospital and the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services, where he served as Chairman of the Board for 10 years. Mr. Stern is also Chairman of the Board of The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function as well as Treasurer of The Baron De Hirsch Foundation. He was founder and first Chairman of the Board of the Elizabeth Seeger School and served on the Board of the Dalton School, The Jewish Guild for the Blind, The Manhattan Theatre Club, and The American Ballet Theatre. Mr. Stern has served on the Search Committees of Health Care intuitions.

His in-depth understanding of both Not-for-Profit and Health Care gives him a decided edge in identifying, judging, and recruiting outstanding executives in these sectors. Moreover, his valuable resources, developed over decades of philanthropic/educational service, are extensive.

Mr. Stern received his B.A. from Cornell and studied management for fundraising and philanthropic organizations at New York University. He’s recipient of the United Hospital Fund Distinguished Trustee Award. Mr. Stern has been a New York Stock Exchange specialist, an American Stock Exchange options market maker, and has served on its Board of Governors.

Tom Lord, an Executive Vice President of Seiden Krieger Associates, has over 37 years experience as an accomplished maritime/transportation/logistics executive leading human resources and talent management. Joining the firm in 2013, Tom leads the Transportation and Logistics search practice, with specialty in the maritime sector. Following a career dedicated to the transportation sector, Tom possesses a vast global network of contacts within the industry. His expertise spans various sectors with international and domestic accountability, including marine transportation, logistics, oil and gas, and supply chain. By leveraging his business leadership and industry knowledge, Tom recruits professionals across all functions, including
C-suite, and various senior roles in operations, marketing, trade, sales, procurement, human resources, finance, IT, engineering/technical, HSE and risk management. Tom utilizes his background to deliver top talent solutions to the most challenging executive search projects.

Tom has been active in numerous professional organizations including the Containerized Shipping Executive Human Resources Group (CSI), the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM), and the Greater Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society. Mike has been a world-class Human Resources professional for his entire 30+ year career. His prior career is one of progressively impactful HR leadership roles in consumer-packaged goods and renewable energy companies such as the Altria family of companies (Kraft and Philip Morris) and Covanta where he was Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer from 2009 to 2018.

Audrey Hellinger began her executive search career in 1990. Before joining Seiden Krieger Associates, she was with Korn Ferry.

Her search practice includes Health Care & Academic Medicine, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, private equity firms, and their portfolio companies. She has successfully filled the leadership roles in academia, including deans, chairs, private industry executives, CEOs, and other senior positions for large and small companies.

Audrey's style utilizes management assessment along with in-depth candidate and reference interviewing to ensure that the individual's personality and skills are in sync with those of the client organization.

Before entering the executive search profession, Ms. Hellinger lived in Switzerland and France, where she studied linguistics and language. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and a Master's degree in French from The Sorbonne in Paris, France. She speaks French, German, and Swiss German.
